Given managed media coverage and the appropriate entertainment, it seems that human beings can rest content with any amount of violence. As long as it is done to others. Atomic bombs (plural)? Napalm? Elephants an endangered species?  Well, life has its complications. Pass the jam.

But are you sure that death is either nothing or just “a better place” (where you happily maintain your present perspective)? That all those generations before us were wrong about meeting our maker and being held to account?
